After staying in Onjuku for the weekend, I decided to stop in on a Friday evening. I didn’t know if it was going to be packed but thankfully it wasn’t busy. I ordered way too much food. The portion sizes were large and well priced. The chirashi bowl was delicious and the fish was fresh. The tempura was light and crispy. The agedashi tofu was perfectly battered and the sauce was great. I would recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area and want a delicious meal!

Great little restaurant. We ate here twice and were impressed both times. The staff are amazingly friendly and the food is great. One night we left our camera here and the staff drove all around town until they found us to return it. highly recommended.

Great experience! The food was excellent. The service was superb. Ordered the local nigiri platter and the waiter kindly explained all the types of fish in English. They have a parking lot. Highly recommend! Would come again.

Excellent food! The pictures I posted don’t do it justice because I had already eaten several pieces off the plate before I took the picture. I regret not trying the tempura, it looked really good too.

The food is very good especially lobster! They have english menu, just ask and they will bring to you! I recommend also deep fried river shrimp, they have parking also in front of restaurant!

one of the few place open after 8 at onjuko {off season surfing town}. family run! dad,mom,son and even grandma at kitchen. highly recommended local sake tasting set for 7 bucks! will come again.
